Do you need to Break Free from Being Stuck?
Maybe you have so much on your plate, you don't know what to do first.
Maybe you've set some amazing goals, but you don't know how to start. Maybe these goals have overwhelmed you.
Maybe you feel like life has become mundane and you're in a routine.
Maybe you feel like you don't know your purpose or destiny.
Maybe you feel like there has to be more to life.
CONSIDER TRYING THESE 3 THINGS
1. Do one thing at a time. Many of us pride ourselves in being able to multitask but it has been proven that when we do one thing at a time we are much more productive. For example: Finish that email before you click another tab, clean an entire space at a time, finish one book at a time (ok maybe 2), when you are getting on your phone to check a text message, don't go to social media etc. Try it out! Might not be as easy as you think.
2. A Goal should be a first step rather than the end result. When setting goals, consider this Solution Focused Definition- I really like this definition. We can set goals all day long, but actually completing them is another story. For example instead of focusing on that 50 pounds that you want to lose, focus on the first step which might be, to research nutritionists, pack your gym bag, pack healthy snacks, schedule time in your week's schedule to workout. The end result is the weight loss, but each step to that end result is a goal. Try looking at goals this way! They will seem more realistic! And celebrate the goals!!!!
3. Don't go searching for your destiny. Dr. Tony Evans said in the Destiny workbook "Don't go searching for your destiny. Go searching for your God. Because it is in locating God amidst the ordinary things that He may have you doing now that you will watch Him intersect them into the extraordinary purpose and destiny He has for You. In other words, fulfill the duties of your routine responsibilities and attach those routine responsibilities to Him. When you loop God into your routine the natural becomes the supernatural"
